Sshhh..Koi Hai !!! :D
It was about 12:30 at night and i was watching some movie on my comp, all alone in the room and the lights swiched off.I sat on my chair infront of the window on the left corner of my room that had a glass pane, the pane was just shut but not latched from inside. My room window faced a big grass lawn that ended in the hostel boundary wall.Engrossed in watching the movie, it was sometime later that i felt some distraction by the inconsistency in the amount of light that came from the window.Instantly I turned my eyes by 90 degrees to look at the window pane. There was some yellow radiation falling on the pane that was dispersed throughout.I tried to pay some more attention, stared at the window for sometime.Only a moment later i figured out that there was shadow of some object that resembled a hand(with five fingers) touching the pane and may be in an attempt to open it .With no further thoughts that may cause slightest of the delay, i took away my headset, threw them away on the floor and hastened myself to the door.I was so horrified that I kept trying to open my room door that was actually latched from inside.
Quickly i rushed to the room infront of mine(Richa and Anu's) .When i told them everything, they reacted the way i expected them to.They both were quite amused and said its quite normal if i imagine even the most horrible thing and may be this was all the consequence of watching too many horrors and thrillers.I didn't try too hard to convince them because I was myself not too sure whether i really saw a "hand" on my window.Still they agreed upon accompanying me to my room and have a check ;).We switched on the light and as we stared the pane, there was nothing i can or anybody can see. While Anupriya was quite sure about my hallucination, she sat on my chair and doing smthing on the comp,i kept convincing Richa about the shadow I saw. Then just as my last attempt i switched off the light and tried to see & show something on the window.Meanwhile, someone among the two..Richa,i guess prompted "Ab tak to jo bhi hoga, bhaag gaya hoga"...
But suddenly the same figure, quite enlarged this time reappeared on the pane and frightened all 3 of us.Anupriya(being closest to the window) suddenly sprang up the chair and all three of us screamed quite loudly and hurried outside the room.Even Richa said "Sach mein koi hai!"
Listening to us some others arrived to my room and then began a serious investigation from within the small window ;-)
After sometime, we realised that wat really was the root of all Horror was no human hand..but a peculiar shaped leaf of a wild growth just outside my window :))
Well this incident proves that i really get frightened easily, nomatter how much i deny the truth but my neighbours are neither too bold nor brave as they might claim ;)

Summer of 2006
Again I am writing too late, but again nevermind..better late than never ;-)
Last couple of months had been a bit tough, a bit more work and load than its usually in my share or rather thats I pefer to take on my head. First the fear of not getting a proper training opportunity, secondly the dilemma whether to do a project in IISc under a HOD of SERC Dept or to go for a official training at Mentor Graphics,Noida and all that under the loads of final days of the 6th semester.
After some contemplation and advices, I finally joined Mentor at Noida for my 2 months Summer Training.Since I reached about 3 days before my training was to start I explored nearly every place in the vicinity that I cud with my elder brother on his Bike.
The bike drives on the smooth and clean roads there were nodoubts too good to enjoy,as compared to the Varanasi roads where even the most grand bike wud be forced to run like a rattling cart ;-)(The roads outside BHU Campus). But I came up with a sad conclusion that Noida has nothing much to see and visit than the Malls and may be just some movies in the PVR's or some shopping but that option was highly improbable in the absence of a female company :(.
Well then my training commenced ,went on and on, the routine became slightly monotonous in between but still the work i was given was good and interested me.With the two months of this new kinda experience I really learnt a lot both professionally and personally. Now I can say these two months had been most productive holidays that added loads both to my knowledge and personality and i certainly enjoyed the company there with most co-operative and amiable people around me.But the real importance of weekends was soon realised in the corporate life as compared to the student life where each day can be made more or less as good as Sundays(atleast here it is so ;)).
Now when I m back I recall that my daily sleeping routine was a bit weird then.On 5 working days of the week I used to sleep from abt 11:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m and then one ,too essential refreshing nap of abt 1hr from 7:30 to 8:30 exactly .Only then i used to rush to the office.Well mentioning here why i had be so weird to fulfill my sleeping dose seems to be a bit risky job but i can very well take the risk now ;-).Well the reason precisely was my elder brother, he used to wake up early in the morning to leave the home exactly at 7:30, and meanwhile i had to study (or atleast pretend to study), to avoid lectures and scolding right in the morning.
And what followed was a pleasant suprise,on the date(30th June 2006,Friday) when my official training period finished, I was offered a PPO(Pre Placement Offer) by the senior HR Manager. Not to mention, i was really too happy to hear the news, that i cud hardly pay any heed to wat she spoke for the rest 15-20 mins. The next day was a busy one for my brother, with loads of work he had to shift from Noida to Gurgaon.Still we managed to enjoy the first half of the day with a movie and the lunch outside. And thereafter, i was permitted to sleep as much as i want ;)
